The Centre fosters community, strengthens cultural identity and engagement, and promotes cross-cultural learning across the University.Key responsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and vision for the Nyombil Centres ongoing development and impactManage and empower a dynamic team of Indigenous support staff and academic advisorsDrive student support strategies focused on recruitment, retention, and successCollaborate across the University to embed culturally informed and inclusive practicesOversee ISSP funding, Indigenous scholarship programs, and internal/external reportingRepresent Bond in community engagement and school outreach initiativesThis senior role offers visibility across the University and wider community, contributing directly to Bonds Indigenous strategy, reconciliation goals and long-term educational equity outcomes.About the personOpen to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants dedicated to advancing Indigenous student success through culturally informed leadership, strategic collaboration, innovation, and inclusive support services.The ideal candidate will bring:A completed tertiary qualificationPostgraduate qualifications (or progress towards them) and at least five years of relevant experienceDemonstrated management and strategic leadership expertiseExcellent communication skills and the ability to lead and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groupsProven experience supporting Indigenous student success through transition strategies, case management, and outreach programsHigh-level administrative and digital proficiencyA commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality services that empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studentsA current Blue Card is required for this role.Salary detailsThe salary for the position ranges from $112,811.36 to $129,300.65 per annum, plus 12% superannuation and will be commensurate with skills, qualification and experience.Additional informationEnquiries can be directed to Emma McGilly at [emailprotected] or 07-5595 5616.Application and submission detailsFor further details regarding this appointment, please reference the Position Description and Selection Criteria.Click and Create New Account to get started.
