Station Supply Officer - Antarctica/sub-Antarctic Base + allowances when in Antarctica from $156,684 As a Station Supply Officer with the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) you will provide critical supply chain management support to the Australian Antarctic Program (AAP). You will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective supply and logistics capabilities in support of strategic, operational and scientific objectives in the Antarctic and subAntarctic. Your responsibilities include the preparation and transportation of cargo for sea and air transport, warehousing, station provisions, operational logistics, equipment accounting, and stock control. Station Supply Officers typically undertake a winter deployment of around 12 months at one of the three continental Antarctic stations or Macquarie Island, following approximately three months of training in Hobart. Summer roles are generally three to five months long, with about two months of predeployment training, and may be based at up to two continental Antarctic stations.
