The Package: $105,424.68 - $115,446.64 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2025) (inclusive of market premium), plus potential performance-based progression. Full-time 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply. Are you looking for a rewarding finance role where your work directly benefits your community? Council is seeking a motivated finance professional to drive financial sustainability and support meaningful community projects. In this role you will: Partner with service managers to deliver budgets, forecasts, and analysis to support Council services. Provide expert advice and training on budget management, financial systems, and compliance with audit and taxation requirements. Monitor budget performance, analyse variances and identify risks and improvement opportunities. We are looking for someone who: Holds a Tertiary Qualification in Accounting and/or Commerce. Has extensive experience in the preparation of financial statements. Is experienced in cost benefit analysis, financial planning and budgetary control. Has experience in a local government finance environment and knowledge of TechnologyOne suite.
