OverviewLachlan Shire Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional Communication and Community Engagement Coordinator. This position is a temporary part time role for 6 months working 3 day per week. This role is responsible to deliver a range of community engagement and communications functions. The successful person will work in partnership with the Council, the community, government and non-government organisations to facilitate communication and promote genuine opportunities for participation in decision making processes. To be successful you will need relevant qualifications or experience. You will also need to be a skilled communicator with a passion for communities and a commitment to delivery of excellent customer service. You must also hold a Class C Driver Licence. Benefits The salary range is $42.50 to $45.68 per hour Starting salary to be determined upon the qualifications and experience of successful applicant.
