The role will be a blend of day to day operational duties and customer service, ensuring the hotel is running efficiently and to the high satisfaction of our guests. Tasks and responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to: Manage and oversee day to day operations and hotel staff performance in all areas (reception, food & beverage, housekeeping and events) Arrange and liaise with external contractors as required Roster creation, implementation, and labour management Manage and be responsible for hotel compliance Complete room checks to ensure Housekeeping has been completed to a high standard On boarding new staff as required Be responsible for the health and safety of all guests and staff Work to meet sales and operational targets set by the owners of the business Work with our marketing department to promote the hotel Answer customer and guest enquires in an efficient and friendly manner via phone, email and in person Manage and resolve guests concerns in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure optimum guest satisfaction Qualification & experience Have obtained or have the ability to obtain RSA in Australia Have obtained or have the ability to obtain RMLV & Approved Managers License in Australia Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry in Australia Experience within a hotel that provides accommodation Proficient back-office skills (reservation systems, cash handling, reporting) Day to day hotel operational management skills High level communication skills (verbal and written) High level customer service focus required Strong attention to detail Very strong leadership skills, can lead by example and motivate a team Excellent personal presentation Full availability as this position involves night and weekend work on a rotating roster Please include your resume, a copy of your qualifications and work referrals with your application.
