Conditions apply.ResponsibilitiesAs a Correctional Case Officer, you will supervise, manage, and support inmates while ensuring safety, security, and rehabilitation in a respectful and structured environment. Youll be working at Clarence Correctional Centre, helping inmates prepare for reintegration into society.Supervise and manage inmates while promoting rehabilitation and reintegrationConduct searches, monitor inmate activities, and maintain a structured, secure environmentUse communication and problem-solving skills to defuse tense situations and maintain orderWork closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure inmate welfareQualificationsWillingness to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice (fully funded)Strong communication, empathy, and resilienceAbility to stay calm under pressure and solve problems with sound judgmentPhysical fitness to meet role demandsA valid Drivers LicenceAs this is a position of trust, shortlisted candidates will undergo a Police Check and full probity assessment.What you can expectAre you ready to do important work that really matters?
