Our Values Authentic Communication Improvement is Possible About the role The Waste Services Officer will deliver strategic waste reform actions and provides specialist advice in relation to waste management for Council. The position supports the implementation of waste, recycling and kerbside collection ensuring the services provide value to the community and are responsive to changing waste regulatory standards. Community engagement forms an integral element to the position. The Waste Services Officer is responsible for the delivery of waste and resource recovery services, including household collection of geneal waste, recycled materials, food and garden organics, e-waste, street bins and the operation of Councils waste transfer stations. The position administers waste service contracts. The position is required to oversee contract performance, data collation interpretation and reporting within the Infrastructure Assets and Planning directorate.
