All applications from Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people will be viewed most favourably.Requirements:Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Addiction Medicine, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathwaysApproved opioid pharmacotherapies prescriber with a proven track record of achievement in the development and management of alcohol and other drugs services in response to clinical demandsSound knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth and State policy in alcohol and other drugs, including understanding clinical governance and a commitment to patient safety and innovationDemonstrated ability in providing clinical leadership and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamDemonstrated strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and organisational skillsDemonstrated commitment to teaching and professional training, research and quality improvement in a public AOD settingAvailability to participate in an on-call roster and respond on site within a reasonable timeValid unrestricted driver licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employmentNSW Health acknowledges the people of the many traditional countries and language groups of New South Wales.
