About the Team Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions: responsible for future learner recruitment and admissions through planning and leading sales activity, by creating competitive offerings that package courses, scholarships and credit and providing efficient assessment and processing of applications for prospective learners. This team is organised around segments/cohorts and focused on nurturing relationships with new, current, and returning learners as well as agents and pathway partners, both in Australia and overseas. About the Role The Student Advisor is responsible for the efficient processing of onshore and offshore applications includes assessment of overseas qualifications, assessment of English language proficiency, assessment of recognition of prior learning (RPL) and making recommendations for admission based on delegated Faculty guidelines. The incumbent is also required to promote UTS by participating in student recruitment activities. Key Responsibilities Efficiently processing and registering onshore and offshore international student applications in line with university policies and timelines, ensuring accuracy and fairness. Assessing credit recognition and preparing both standard and nonstandard admission correspondence while maintaining accurate student records across iAMS and CASS systems. Delivering highquality customer service by responding promptly and accurately to student and agent inquiries via email, phone, and in person. Supporting international recruitment by promoting UTS at education fairs, interviews, and other events in Australia and overseas to increase applications and enrolments. Ensuring all recruitment and admission activities comply with ESOS Act, AVCC Code of Conduct, and university policies. Selection Criteria Ability to handle an extremely large workload without sacrificing speed or accuracy. Proven capacity to interpret complex policies and procedures. Ability to work as part of a team. Demonstrated experience in assessment of applications from international students for admissions to an Australian Higher Education institution. Compensation and Benefits Base Salary Range: $83,906 - $95,989 pa (HEW 5). This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
