Functions Attendant Join to apply for the Functions Attendant role at St John of God Health Care At St John of God Murdoch Hospital we have a new opportunity for a Function Attendant. You will provide exceptional service at our Conference Centre by maintaining high standards in both meal and beverage service. Prepare room layout and setup as per customer requirements. Ensure setup of food and beverage. Provide exceptional service during the function replenishment of beverages and food, replacement of crockery, clean up after the function and handling of AV equipment. Carry out correct hygiene procedures. Ensure functions run smoothly with a focus on a high standard of service at Subiaco, Midland and Mt Lawley. Immediately report any service issues or concerns to the Hotel Services Duty Managers and/or Hotel Services Administration Officer as required. All other reasonable duties as directed by the Hotel Services Duty Manager and Hotel Services Administration Officer. We are looking for a reliable and safetyconscious individual who understands and applies occupational health and safety principles to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and others. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English, are essential for success in this role. You will bring a solid understanding of hygiene regulations and procedures, backed by previous experience in food handling. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, demonstrating initiative and reliability without the need for constant supervision. Basic computer skills and familiarity with general office procedures are also required to support daytoday administrative tasks. To be successful in this role you will need to have a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification with prior experience in A La Carte or function service. Experience in hospitality, especially within a Banqueting and Conference Centre environment, will be highly regarded. We can offer you $39.25 to $41.11 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation. A casual position. Salary packaging option for a percentage of earnings.
