About the role Were looking for hands-on, safety-minded Underground Level 1 Miners who take pride in their work and care about their team. Roster: 7/7, 12-hour shifts (rotating days & nights) Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW Travel Options: Residential only Residents embrace our community with a balanced roster with relocation support available. Key responsibilities Truck Operator Operate underground haulage trucks safely and efficiently Conduct daily visual inspections and checks to ensure equipment is clean and safe Perform work functions in line with your training in an underground environment Undertake ongoing training to refresh and upskill in accordance with your development plan Nipper Ensure mining teams have the supplies and equipment needed for efficient workflow Assist underground Operators and Service Crew as required Keep work areas clean, tidy, and organised to maintain a safe environment Grader/Water Cart Operator Operate graders and water carts safely and efficiently Perform all work in line with safety regulations and guidelines Promote a positive, safety-focused team culture Service Crew Install and repair mine services, including ventilation ducting, pipelines, pump lines, and firing lines Install secondary fans Manually install grouted cable bolts and tension cables Deliver underground consumables to support production and development Operate Integrated Tool Carriers safely Maintain equipment in clean and tidy condition Qualifications and experience Truck Operator Previous experience operating heavy equipment, preferably underground Ability to work safely in an underground environment Security Clearance (UHL) highly desirable Nipper Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Previous underground experience highly regarded Desired tickets: Security Clearance (UHL), Dangerous Goods Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space Grader/Water Cart Operator Previous experience operating underground mobile equipment Service Crew Previous underground experience in a similar role Strong problem-solving and communication skills Desired tickets: Security Clearance (UHL), Dangerous Goods Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space For All Roles Commitment to working safely and living our Values to promote a positive, continuous improvement culture Ability to work a 7/7 rotating day/night roster Unencumbered manual (or open) C class drivers licence Successful completion of pre-employment checks, including medical, drug & alcohol testing, Australian police checks, and qualification verification Must have the right to work in Australia At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
