We are currently offering a full-time position for an exciting opportunity to work as a Cleansing Trainee Team Member for the City of Yarra whilst completing a qualification and undertaking the Certificate III in Cleaning Operations. About you Do you take pride within your community and are a dedicated, motivated individual looking to kickstart your career and looking to undertake a Traineeship within a Local Council? We are currently seeking a full time Trainee to join the Cleansing Team based with the City of Yarra undertaking cleansing operations within their community. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within a Team whilst working towards a Qualification. Services Recycling Centre Services Street litter/ Dumped waste and Syringe collection Responsibilities Build and develop skills and knowledge of recycling principles of practices Ensure the Recycling Drop off Centre is well managed and safe for the public. Contribute to the development of strategic directions, planning and policies for City Works. Maintain a responsive and professional relationship with a wide range of relevant internal clients, customers, contractors and various interest groups and individuals from the broader community. Support the staff in Councils inhouse Cleansing Team when required. Deliver councils services based on community needs and benefits. Engage with Coordinator Cleansing & Graffiti and Coordinator Waste Management Services and other Council officers to provide best practice delivery.
