As the Building Maintenance Worker, you will carry out planned and reactive minor maintenance works in and around the Citys facilities such as painting, carpentry, fabrication and mending. You will also assist and support tradespersons in the maintenance of the facilities. To be successful in this role, you will need: Certificate II in Construction Pathways (Building Maintenance) or equivalent qualification Two years practical experience in the building/construction industry and previous relevant experience in maintenance and minor construction work Current unrestricted C class national drivers licence Construction White Card Sound verbal, written and numeracy skills Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools required for trade related activities Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, maintenance standards and specifications Selfmotivated and able to work unsupervised and manage own time effectively For more information about the role please refer to the position description.
