home_work On-site Posted 6 days ago Senior Wholesale Order Packer Kyeema Seafoods Kings Meadows, Launceston TAS About the Role Youll take a leading role in packing and coordinating wholesale seafood orders for restaurants across the state. This is a fastpaced, highturnover environment, and the work can be physically demanding and timesensitive. Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded. The position starts at 6am Monday Friday with finish time based on fish/workload. Occasional weekend work may be available or required at peak times. Key Responsibilities Packing and preparing seafood orders for delivery with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Overseeing packing operations and assisting junior team members Cleaning, maintaining and general factory duties Assisting with delivery driving in a company refrigerated vehicle Supporting the daytoday operations and helping to maintain workflow and quality standards What Were Looking For Proven experience in a packing, factory hand, or warehouse role Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure Leadership qualities and the ability to support or train less experienced staff Reliable work ethic and a proactive, handson attitude Ability to work long and physically demanding shifts when required Ability to work independently and within a team environment Basic English and math skills Flexibility with hours shifts may vary (especially during busy seasons like summer and Easter) Punctual, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision Minimum of 1+ years experience in packing, factory hand, or warehouse operations A passion for food, seafood or experience in commercial cooking may be advantageous if applicants do not have packing/warehouse experience Requirements Full, Manual Drivers license and reliable vehicle essential Must be physically capable and comfortable with manual, handson work, including heavy lifting Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and practical problemsolving Motivation to contribute to the team and uphold workplace standards Australian work rights are required for this position, please do not apply if you do not have full working rights If you meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you.
