About the Opportunity An opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic and energetic casual Kitchen Attendant, who enjoys working in large and fast paced environment, to join our dynamic & busy kitchen team. What could be just the right role for you? Your responsibilities will be to: Ensure the kitchen, food preparation & scullery areas are a clean and hygienic work environment Clean dishes, utensils and equipment Handle and use chemicals safely Operate dishwashing equipment & move catering equipment Lifting of heavy items & dispose of waste Deep clean kitchens & perform duties to a high standard Availability to work 20 - 30 hours / 4 to 5 shifts per week is required The typical shift patterns are: 7 AM to 3 PM (highly regarded), 3 PM to 10 PM What youll need to be successful Previous kitchen stewarding or cleaning experience (highly regarded) Previous experience using a commercial dishwasher advantageous General knowledge of catering equipment, cleaning and hygienic kitchen procedures Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and in a fast-paced environment Work well with others in a team environment, display a friendly positive can do attitude with a willingness to learn Can take direction and follow instructions or work independently & show initiative The ability to perform the physical requirements of this role including comfortably lift up to 20kgs and performing repetitive manual tasks safely Full working rights in Australia We are Offering Hourly rate + penalties for evenings, weekends & public holidays Free parking on-site Uniforms provided Enjoy generous staff discounts within the resort Monthly employee reward and recognition program The RACV difference Be part of a team who cares.
