About the Program Mobile Patient Care (MPC) offers NonEmergency Patient Transport across Victoria and some areas of New South Wales. We work with a large fleet of ambulances and support our transport services with RFDS aircraft. MPC provides clinical care for people travelling from home to hospital, hospital to hospital and hospital to home, as well as transport to and from specialist clinics. About the Role As an ATA, you will deliver highquality, dignified, and patientfocused care, ensuring the efficient and effective transport of nonemergency pre and posthospital patients. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the comfort and respect of each patient throughout their journey. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessment and intervention onroad. Provide high quality patient care and treatment during onroad transport. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders. Perform independently and problemsolve within established policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with other team members. To be successful, you will need: A Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), or Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or Bachelor of Nursing (with AHPRA registered nurse registration), or other equivalent qualification for Ambulance Officers recognised by RFDS or DHHS. For Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) qualified evidence of successful completion of required clinical placements and a Clinical Skills Assessment, completion of a minimum of 400 hours operational experience under the direct supervision of a clinical instructor, successful completion of clinical skills assessment. Availability to work 10 and 12hour shifts across 7 days. Ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions. Compassionate, professional, and dedicated to providing excellent service. Experience working in the NEPT sector in an equal role desirable but not essential. Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Full Drivers Licence, Working with Childrens Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia.
