A bit about the role The role involves providing highquality, accurate, and timely administrative support to assist the team and organisation in delivering services effectively. It includes continually developing business administration skills and understanding of Council processes. A key focus is on gaining knowledge of Council software and systems to ensure accurate data entry, retrieval, and records management. The position contributes to improving team processes and service delivery, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and safe. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing recyclable and reusable materials, receipting of monies, and daily balancing. Strong communication with supervisors, team members, and the public is essential to ensure tasks are completed safely and within deadlines, with a consistent focus on customer service. Additionally, the role supports a positive safety culture through documentation, incident reporting, and participation in team safety discussions.
