We are looking for a dynamic Hotel Front Office Attendant to join our growing hotel team. This will be a great opportunity to work within a strong team to develop your career in hospitality. Salary Package: $62k per annum plus employer''s superannuation Appointment Type: Full time, continuing appointment Location: Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde. THE ROLE Lakeside Hotel and Conference Centre is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Front Office Attendant to join our growing hotel team. This will be a great opportunity to work within a strong team to develop your career in hospitality. You will be the first point of contact for guests and play a pivotal role in creating a positive and memorable experience. Managing the front office reception to ensure smooth daily operations. Responding to accommodation inquiries and processing reservations. Performing guest checkins and checkouts efficiently and professionally. Handling payments, accounts, and general administrative tasks. Providing exceptional customer service at every interaction. Addressing guest complaints and concerns promptly and effectively. Demonstrating strong problemsolving skills and maintaining a proactive approach to ensure guest satisfaction. Assisting with other hotel departments as required to support overall operations. ABOUT YOU You are someone who believes the core of hospitality is customer service. You are great at multitasking, have excellent communication skills and can think on your feet to solve problems. To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous front office, customer service and/or sales experience (within hospitality industry preferred). Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Wellpresented with keen attention to detail and cultural sensitivity/awareness. Strong time management and problemsolving skills. Cash handling and transaction processing experience. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs and knowledge of Opera Property Management System is desirable. Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). Opera PMS / Cloud experience is highly regarded. Please note: This role requires the ability to work across AM, PM, weekend and occasional night shifts. Full flexibility is essential. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Criminal History Check and must hold valid working rights in Australia.
