Job Title

Your new role as a workshop Boilermaker will report to the Workshop Supervisor in a permanent fulltime residential position based in Kalgoorlie. The Boilermaker is responsible for carrying out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to Caterpillar fleets, completion of service reports, identifying parts requirements whilst maintaining safe work practices and a safe work environment. Location: Kalgoorlie must be residential or willing to relocate with own housing. Roster: 8 days on, 6 off 10.5 hrs each day (inc. of 30 minute meal break). What Youll Do: Fabricate and repair structural steel and equipment components in line with customers and Westracs specification. Read and interpret schematics and specifications accurately, source technical information through reference manuals, technical bulletins and internal based systems. Manage and advise appropriate tooling fit for service. Maintain and set clean and safe working environment. Be a dynamic team player with a high commitment to working safety. Liaise with various site/local clients on their requirements in an effective manner. Skills & Experience: Australian recognised Boilermaker or Fabrication Trade Certificate (essential) HeavyRigid Licence (essential) Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Arc welding techniques Experience working on large mining machinery or heavy fabrication.
