There are no specific qualifications needed, it''s your life experience that counts in this role. $8,000 sign-on bonus New prison officers are now eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $8,000. Six months after commencing, you will receive a payment of $4,000. Then, after one years full-time employment, you will receive an additional payment of $4,000.
