Job Description Experienced Plastic Welder / Fabricator Location: Southampton, Hampshire Hours: MondayThursday 07:0017:00, Friday 07:0013:00 (44 hrs/week including 5 hrs overtime at 1.33x) Salary: 1315.00 per hour (dependent on experience) Join one of the UKs leading manufacturers of thermoplastic pipe systems, tanks and vessels. Were looking for a skilled and motivated Plastic Welder/Fabricator to join our clients busy workshop. About the Role In this handson role, youll use your experience in thermoplastic fabrication and welding to produce highquality components from materials such as PVC, PP, PE and PVDF. Youll work from detailed engineering drawings to mark out, cut, form and assemble pipework, tanks and vessels to precise specifications. Responsibilities Fabricating and assembling thermoplastic components to specification Performing plastic welding and jointing (socket fusion, butt fusion, electrofusion, hotgas and extrusion) Conducting inspections and pressure tests on finished products Operating a range of hand and power tools, saws, drills and bending equipment Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workspace Adhering to all company Health & Safety and quality standards About You Proven experience in plastic welding and fabrication (PVC, PP, PE or PVDF) Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings Skilled in the use of workshop tools and measuring equipment Reliable, accurate and able to work to high quality standards A proactive team player with good attention to detail Why Join Us Competitive pay with overtime opportunities Supportive and friendly workshop environment Ongoing professional development in thermoplastic welding and fabrication Join a secure, longestablished company with an excellent industry reputation #J-18808-Ljbffr
