Recruitment Incentive Package This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be prorated to your contracted or ordinary working hours; payments are made fortnightly) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme. The scheme recognises the role of key health workers in delivering rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements to attract and retain staff in these areas. What You''ll Be Doing The Oral Health Therapy position provides oral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management and education for the prevention of oral disease, promoting healthy oral behaviours. It includes restorative/fillings treatment, deciduous tooth removal and preventive services for children, adolescents and adults. The OHT has adult scope of practice. How To Apply To be considered, please address the selection criteria thoroughly in your application: Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA Dental Board of Australia) to practice Dental Therapy. Significant clinical experience in providing Dental Therapy to children. Relevant experience in oral health promotion and a commitment to evidencebased health promotion for atrisk communities. High level of oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated computer literacy to effectively utilise dental software packages (e.g., Titanium). ClassC drivers licence and willingness to travel for work purposes.
