(plus 17% superannuation) As the Manager, (Feedlot) Intensive Livestock Systems, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our intensive livestock facilities, ensuring excellence in animal welfare, productivity, and innovation. Youll lead a high-performing team, manage feedlot operations, and support research and industry engagement activities that align with the Universitys strategic goals. This is a handson leadership role where your expertise in livestock management, business acumen, and collaborative mindset will drive the success of a nationally significant research and demonstration facility. About you You are a confident and capable leader with: Extensive experience in the Australian livestock industry, particularly in intensive systems.Strong knowledge of animal husbandry, feedlot operations, and lowstress livestock handling.A commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.A passion for innovation and sustainability in agriculture.
