Add expected salary to your profile for insightsAbout the PositionAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and proactive individual to join the Shire of Broome as a Waste Management Officer.In this role, youll be responsible for delivering highquality administrative and customer service support at the Shires Waste Management Facility. This includes accurately assessing incoming waste, ensuring compliance with regulations, and correctly applying the Shires fees and charges. This permanent fulltime position is rostered Monday Sunday, 7:00am 4:00pm with a 45minute break.About YouDemonstrated ability to work within a team environment and autonomouslyExcellent customer service skills including the ability to deal with agitated and/or difficult customers.Good written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of filing and records management.Competent in the use of Microsoft Office programmes (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).A demonstrated understanding of the principles of equal opportunity and occupational health and safety.Experience in reconciling accounts, EFTPOS and cash transactions.Dont meet every single requirement?
