We are currently recruiting passionate and experienced clinicians to join a new Team, the Youth Mental Health Initiative Team. The Team delivers specialist youth mental health care to young people aged 12 to 25 presenting to headspace with severe and complex mental health needs and facilitates supported transition to core CCLHD services where required. We have opportunities available in all three headspace centres Gosford, Tuggerah and Wyong and are offering flexible fulltime, parttime, permanent and temporary positions. These roles are Monday to Friday, with no weekend work, and we support job share arrangements to help you achieve your ideal worklife balance. Qualifications Occupational Therapist Level 3 Clinical Psychologist Senior Psychologist Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 Social Worker Level 3 Counselor Level 3 About The Role Provide traumainformed, recoveryoriented assessment and therapy to young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges. Deliver assertive outreach and intensive case management to improve access and engagement. Involve families and carers meaningfully in assessment, care planning and review. Collaborate closely with schools, GPs, hospitals, community services and other stakeholders to support holistic care. Participate in case conferences, multidisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning. Maintain accurate, highstandard clinical documentation and adhere to relevant privacy, consent and legal guidelines. Contribute to service development, quality improvement and staff education initiatives. Enjoy a consistent MondayFriday schedule, supporting work/life balance. About You A relevant tertiary qualification and current registration (e.g. AHPRA or professional association membership). Minimum 3 years postgraduate/registration clinical experience working in child and adolescent mental health or a related field. A current Australian Drivers Licence. A current Working With Children Check and National Police Check. Category A immunisation status. Strong communication, assessment and care planning skills. A traumainformed, strengthsbased approach to working with young people and families. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
