Youll be someone who leads by example, is calm under pressure, is fair and consistent in decisionmaking, and committed to fostering a respectful and safe community through education and engagement.To Thrive In This Role You Will HaveDemonstrated leadership experience in compliance, law enforcement, or a communityfocused regulatory environment.Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a team to deliver consistent, highquality service.Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations relating to animal management, local laws, and compliance.Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse community members.Welldeveloped organisational and reporting skills, including experience managing rosters, investigations, and incident responses.Mandatory Qualifications, Experience And RequirementsDegree or Diploma in Law Enforcement or relevant discipline (qualification check conducted) with some relevant experience or a lesser qualification with substantial in an area relevant to this position.Knowledge of Magistrates Court and Infringements Court procedures.Knowledge of legislation related to parking, animal control and local law enforcement.Possess or be able to obtain a current Victorian Shooters Licence.A current Working With Children Check.You have the permanent right to live and work in Australia.Police Check results that are suitable for this position (arranged by Council).
