This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and skilled team committed to fostering effective communication and promoting Councils policies and legislative requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing guidance to clients, staff, and external agencies on matters relating to Building Surveying, Certification, Planning, and Fire Safety. This is a unique broadbanded position offering a clear, structured development pathway supported by educational assistance, professional mentoring, and opportunities for salary progression. Essential Criteria Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health and Building, Building Surveying or a related field. Current Registration with NSW Fair Trading at a Registration Level of Building Inspector, with the ability, knowledge, qualification and experience to obtain Registration Level of Building Surveyor within a negotiated timeframe. Class C Drivers Licence. A sound working knowledge of NSW Planning Legislation. Demonstrated experience in assessment and inspection of Class 1 and 10 Buildings under the National Construction Code and assessment of Section 68 matters including sanitary drainage. Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment. Demonstrated provision of consistent highlevel customer service.
