Band 8 Salary Range: $125,281.66 - $139,573.61 plus 12% Superannuation Department: Governance About the Role Were searching for a Coordinator Audit, Risk and Compliance to join our team to provide strategic highlevel leadership and advice to executive, other organisational stakeholders and Audit and Risk Committee in relation to the program of work across compliance, risk, business continuity, insurance and information management within Latrobe City Council. You will be responsible for: Providing highlevel people and thought leadership to support the performance of a small but critical team within the department Guiding the effective operation of the Audit and Risk Committee to ensure the Committee members and management are supported in their audit and risk related responsibilities Maintaining the risk management framework and building accountabilities for risk management across the organisation in accordance with the relevant standard Coordinating and ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of projects and business activities within the unit and in collaboration with other business units Youll need: Qualifications in a relevant discipline or lesser formal qualifications with relevant work experience Several years of administration experience at a senior level Experience in managing staff and work programmes Relevant computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and experience with risk management software Previous experience in a local government setting or knowledge of local government Successful applicants will be required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
