This is a diverse and fastpaced role based predominantly in Orange, NSW. It is a fulltime position on a MondayFriday roster or for a FIFO/DIDO applicant 8 on / 6 off. In joining a certified Great Place to Work you will have the opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project at a NSW mine, leading a team of excellent and experienced fleet maintenance staff.ResponsibilitiesProviding leadership to the maintenance crews by developing shortterm work and resource plans and targets consistent with the overall project plans.Meeting maintenance targets as measured by the site KPIs.Developing and managing the onsite relationship with the clients representatives with a view to promoting SEE Fleet services, understanding client needs, and developing a longterm relationship.Promoting a culture of continual improvement throughout the project team.Ensuring all repairs, service and maintenance is performed to quality standards in compliance with OEM specifications, budget and schedule, as well as relevant legislation and standards.Working closely with the departments to maintain regular estimates of the costtocompletion and timetocompletion for each repair and maintenance job.Regular communication with the Operations Manager to ensure resources are optimised & allocated based on priority & business requirements.Be the main point of contact for all maintenance queries from both internal and external stakeholders as well as building and maintaining working relationships with stakeholders.Presenting and preparing updates and reports to the Division Manager as required and provide support in the overall management and development of the maintenance department.Actively identifying areas of improvement and opportunity to reduce costs whilst still meeting service and delivery requirements.Complying with the Integrated Management System and Project policies and procedures.Identifying competitive advantages and building organic growth opportunities.Essential Skills and AttributesExtensive background in heavy plant, mechanical and business processes.Previous experience in a similar role.Strong understanding of machinery and mechanical concepts and can lead the maintenance team thinking logically and methodically under pressure.Proven management skills, practices and planning ability.Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating and administering contracts.Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications.Highly effective planning, organising and problemsolving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.Required a trade certificate Heavy Plant.Open cut mining and civil experience preferred.Cost management and cost control.Ability to build and foster relationships both internally and externally.Current drivers licence.The SEE WayBe part of a downtoearth, supportive team that values diversity and inclusion.Benefit from career growth and tailored development opportunities.Enjoy personalised rewards and recognition for your hard work.Work on impactful projects that shape communities.Collaborate with passionate people who bring a boots & all attitude to everything they do.Whats next?If you would like to join our team and hold full, unlimited working rights in Australia, we encourage you to submit your CV by clicking apply now.
