NES Fircroft partnered with a world leader in mining who is seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist for an initial 6month contract based on a site located in the Bowen Basin. You will be responsible for the identification of fixedplant maintenance requirements on a large established mine. About the role Main job responsibilities will include but not limited to: Maintains defect elimination rhythms and routines, ensuring triggered events are reviewed, investigated, actions implemented and monitored for effectiveness. (RCA) Builds and maintains crossfunctional relationships with other I&S departments. Follows the assigned Work Management Monitoring and Controlling (SAP) process steps to contribute to driving work management effectiveness and compliance of preventive work and optimisation. Review condition monitoring data, initiate new and/or changes to strategies to address emerging risks. Implements maintenance Work Plans to validate the integrity of plant, equipment and infrastructure in accordance with defined standards and procedures, ensure compliance to the plans for equipment strategies. Executes endtoend detailed analysis of work processes, master data, and organization design to identify inefficiencies in the execution of work, diagnose functional and crossfunctional business problems and to identify improvement opportunities. Provide feedback for maintenance strategies during the strategy development and optimization process. Improve equipment safety and reliability. Provides technical advice to the Maintenance Execution function to support work quality and safe execution of maintenance work.
