Remote Retention allowance of $750 Access to Anyinginyi Health Clinic, with prescriptions Free general dentistry Salary range: $123,738 to $148,250 6 weeks annual leave Responsibilities Oversee the finance teams efficient and timely operations Reconcile asset additions and replacements from the asset register to the general ledger Reconcile and monitor expenses and prepare monthly P&L reports Reconcile GST for the BAS statement Oversee payroll processing with the senior finance officer, including reconciling payroll clearing accounts Oversee reconciliation of salary sacrifice accounts and FBT Assist the Finance Team to prepare monthend financial reports Prepare quarterly reports for the Executive Manager Business Services Prepare budgets and other financial reports Process and analyze key financial documents, including revenue, expenditures, and cash flows, in coordination with the Executive Manager Business Services Prepare necessary balance sheet schedules for yearend Prepare firstdraft financial acquittals Lead the Finance Team to prepare yearend audit schedules and liaise with auditors Promote an ethical, honest, and caring financial environment and community commitment Set mutually agreed goals, objectives, and performance measures for the position as part of annual review processes Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of 2 years experience Knowledge of Aboriginal societies and cultures and issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in contemporary Australia Respect for traditional Aboriginal culture and cultural diversity and strong communication skills with Aboriginal and culturally diverse people Experience developing, maintaining and implementing budgets for a range of operational areas, including consolidated organisationwide budgets and cashflow forecasts Ability to report actual fund flows versus budgeted figures and variances Ability to prepare accurate, concise financial statements understandable to nonfinancial personnel Experience guiding and building financial management capacity in a team setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills and selfmotivation with strong timemanagement abilities Experience with computerbased accounting programs Advanced Excel knowledge Current NT motor vehicle license or ability to obtain one Ability to obtain an OCHRE Card (Working with Children) Tertiary qualifications in business finance or equivalent, or willingness to obtain them How to Apply We request that you submit a copy of your resume and complete the work history and education information on the application page.
