Group Facilities ManagerFull Time SalaryVillage Roadshow Theme Parks, Gold CoastOverviewAs our Group Facilities Manager, youll be the mastermind behind the smooth operation, coordination, and presentation of all our parks. Youll lead maintenance of gardens, paintwork, carpentry, plumbing, and air conditioning to ensure every corner looks its best and runs like clockwork. Your mission is to maintain our parks to the highest standard of safety, quality, and appearance, supporting the delivery of a consistent and premium guest experience. Youll guide and inspire facilities teams, plan and schedule maintenance projects, and ensure the fun never stops.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and support facilities supervisors, trades, and contractors across all VRTP properties.Oversee workforce planning, rosters, and labor allocation to meet operational demands across multiple sites.Oversee and coordinate facilities operations across all sites, ensuring efficient delivery of maintenance and presentation works.Promote a positive, high-performance culture aligned with VRTP values.Assist in developing and managing the annual facilities budget under the guidance of the Head of Facilities.Ensure all facilities works comply with VRTPs WHS standards, Australian building codes, and environmental requirements.Conduct and review risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.Liaise closely with Park General Managers, Maintenance, and Operations leaders to align facilities priorities and schedules.Coordinate responses to urgent repairs, incidents, and operational issues.Develop and manage preventative maintenance and asset care schedules to minimize downtime and ensure compliance.Support strategic projects, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across VRTP.What Were Looking ForRelevant trade qualification or tertiary qualification in facilities management, building services, or a related field.Current drivers license.Proven leadership of multidisciplinary trades teams and contractors.Extensive experience in facilities, maintenance, or asset management across large, multi-site operations.Strong understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, and asset management systems (e.g. SAP, Maximo).Advanced knowledge of building presentation, grounds maintenance, and relevant Australian standards and codes.Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict-resolution skills.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and optimize operational performance.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.Commitment to workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and quality assurance.Ability to travel regularly across VRTP properties.Flexibility to respond to urgent operational matters outside standard hours.Physically fit to conduct site inspections and work in varied outdoor environments.Your BenefitsUnlimited free entry to our amazing theme parks!Earn complimentary passes to share with family and friends!Enjoy discounts on food & beverage, retail and animal experiences across our parks!Exclusive employee deals through our Village Employee Benefits App, partnered with 65+ major retailers!Unique team events and awards, celebrating our people as part of the fun!Reward and recognition programs with prizes for outstanding contributionsWellbeing support with our on-site team and 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Professional development opportunities with internal training; we love to grow our talent!At Village Roadshow Theme Parks, our purpose is simple: create joy and memories that last a lifetime.
