About the Role As a Funeral Director, you will: Arrange and conduct funerals as a single point of contact for families from the first meeting through to funeral service delivery and aftercare. Provide knowledgeable and empathetic guidance to families. Coordinate venues, celebrants, clergy, transport, burial or cremation services and audiovisual requirements. Complete and manage all legal and regulatory documentation accurately and within required timeframes. Oversee and participate in preparation, viewings, transfers, and mortuary care as required. Ensure each service is delivered in alignment with the wishes of the family and our company''s professional standards. Experience & Qualifications Proven ability to plan, arrange, and conduct funeral services endtoend. Experience interacting with grieving families in a professional, empathetic, and culturally sensitive manner. Sound knowledge of burial, cremation, and funeral industry procedures, legislation, and documentation. Experience in coordinating service logistics, including liaison with external providers. A current driver''s licence. Personal Attributes Be emotionally resilient and compassionate. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and time management. Be available to participate in the oncall roster, including weekends and public holidays from time to time as required.
