An exciting opportunity exists for a highperforming individual to join The Wave (Rail), within Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in the role of Manager (Stakeholder & Environment). The Wave (Rail) project, previously known as the Direct Sunshine Coast Rail Line project, is a generational infrastructure project that will revolutionise travel for the Sunshine Coast region, creating a seamless public transport network for the region. It will deliver heavy passenger rail from Beerwah to Birtinya, and metrostyle vehicles will provide links between Birtinya, Mountain Creek, Maroochydore CBD and the Sunshine Coast Airport. Key Responsibilities Manage technical advice and key stakeholder relationships, coordinating across the property, environmental, sustainability, and cultural heritage teams to ensure the consistent, timely, costeffective, and highquality delivery of The Wave (Rail) project. Assist the Executive Director (Planning and Environment) in managing the environmental and approvals team, working collaboratively with other teams to meet project objectives and priorities. Develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal project teams, external agencies, and key stakeholders to support critical activities such as site investigations. Draft executive and publicfacing correspondence, project reports, presentations, briefing notes, and submissions to support the project''s communication and governance needs. Report on risks, issues, and opportunities arising within the Planning and Environment team and assist in implementing risk mitigations and bestpractice project management systems to ensure highquality outcomes within project timeframes. Mentor and lead team members, fostering a collaborative and highperforming culture within the Planning and Environment team.
