This role is responsible for leading the state logistics operation to ensure effective and efficient execution of the day-to-day operation in line with business objectives. The role will work with the wider logistics team to look for growth opportunities within the state, through commercial relationships that will fit the current strategic mix. Responsibilities Ensure there are minimal quality issues related to transport performance. Manage subcontractor invoicing, ensuring payments are processed in a timely manner. Maintain the transport scorecard on a monthly basis. Ensure the weekly cutoff requirements are met as per load plan. Complete safety reporting. Address customer queries and complaints efficiently and effectively. Manage workflows and resources to ensure optimum efficiency targets are met. Liaise with the operations team and Head of Operations. Qualifications Highly developed time management, organisational and multitasking skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment, displaying flexibility to meet changing needs, priorities and deadlines. A team player who builds effective internal relationships. Competent data entry skills and proven experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; Microsoft AX experience desirable but not essential. Ability to work autonomously. Prioritisation skills. Experience 35 years of experience in a similar logistics role. Demonstrated exposure in an FMCG environment preferred. Benefits Live and work on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
