Join to apply for the Registered Nurse Child & Family role at NSW Health This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be prorated to your contracted or ordinary working hours; these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme. This scheme recognises the role of key health workers in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements to attract and retain staff in these areas. Position Details Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Registered Nurse Remuneration: $37.48 $52.62 per hour + Superannuation Hours per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ617199 Location: Broken Hill Benefits 5 weeks Annual Leave Salary packaging (pay less tax) and up to $9,000 for living expenses + $2,600 meal & entertainment + Novated leasing A paid allocated day off (ADO) every month Isolation & climate allowance Learning and Development support with access to further education & training A comfortable and affordable country lifestyle set in some of the most beautiful landscapes Responsibilities Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to infants and children, and parents, carers and families in a primary health care model to assist families to transition to parenthood, build on strengths and ameliorate identified risks that may contribute to the development of problems in infants and later in life. Qualifications Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with postgraduate qualifications in the speciality of Child & Family Health. Demonstrated ability to work closely with families utilising evidencebased models of care and approaches that are supportive and inclusive with an early intervention focus. Demonstrated ability and experience in planning, coordinating and evaluating education programmes. Current immunisation accreditation. Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues. Demonstrated intermediate computer skills, effective interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team and a capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise. Current cClass licence and willingness to travel to communities in rural and remote locations.
