Base pay range A$75.00/hr - A$85.00/hr Windows Server Engineer We are currently seeking an experienced Windows Server Engineer to support a major lifecycle uplift project across regional sites. This role will play a key part in upgrading legacy environments, building replacement servers, and ensuring a seamless transition into BAU support. Immediate start until Christmas (strong potential to extend) Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH Melbourne preferred remote options considered Key Responsibilities Windows OS lifecycle upgrades (Windows 2003/2008/2012 current supported versions) Build and configuration of replacement Active Directory and utility servers Deploying services such as AD, DNS, DHCP scopes, SCCM, Print Server Management Supporting transition to BAU and decommissioning legacy servers Reporting status updates and deliverables to the client. Must-Have Skills Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server and Active Directory Experience delivering OS lifecycle upgrades or server currency projects Solid knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, SCCM and backup technologies Familiarity with server builds and integrations in distributed environments Excellent documentation and communication skills Exposure to regional or multi-site infrastructure deployments Background in OT or utilities environments Experience with PowerShell scripting Understanding of network fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls) ITIL or other service transition frameworks Why Join?
