The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydneys western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.An exciting opportunity is now available for a Senior Speech Pathologist to join the NBMLHD Speech Pathology Department in a temporary part time maternity relief position, working 22 hours per week until January 2027. This role is offered in a job share arrangement and involves clinical leadership and intervention across Acute and Critical Care areas, including Respiratory, ICU, Cardiology, and Neurosurgery. The position also includes coordination of the outpatient dysphagia clinic and active involvement in teaching and training within the Speech Pathology team.We are seeking a clinician with extensive senior level experience in acute care settings and expertise in managing patients with tracheostomies. You will be proficient in instrumental swallowing assessments, including VFSS and FEES. You will also demonstrate well developed emotional intelligence, with the ability to build rapport, show empathy, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in high pressure environments.
