Our mission is clear: strengthening Queensland communities by developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople.East Coast Apprenticeships (ECA) is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to drive excellence in financial management, commercial strategy, and governance across the organisation. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will partner closely with the CEO to enhance financial performance, embed strong risk and compliance frameworks, and support ECAs mission to grow and sustain high-quality apprenticeship pathways. This hands-on, strategic role will appeal to a finance leader who thrives on improving systems and capability, driving transparency, and enabling impactful decision-making.Your ImpactLead financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all reporting and accounting processes.Build and embed robust financial and risk governance frameworks that support strategic and operational objectives.Oversee commercial planning, pricing, and supplier contracts to maximise value and drive sustainable growth.Provide strategic insight, reporting and analysis to inform executive and board decision-making.Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across finance and governance functions.About YouYou are an experienced finance and governance professional (CA/CPA qualified or equivalent ideally) with demonstrated success in transforming financial systems and embedding risk management frameworks. You combine strategic acumen with hands-on capability, commercial insight, and the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation.
