Smith Plant has a position available for a licensed traffic controller to operate a pilot vehicle (ute) for a road maintenance crew. The role is a FIFO style role in western NSW on a 10 day on 4 day off roster with travel to and from site paid for in a company vehicle.What you''ll be doingActing as a spotter / in a ute for a road maintenance crew.Set up, maintain and remove traffic control signs and equipment when needed.Communicating with site personnel to coordinate access and traffic movementsEnsuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulationsMaintaining accurate records of traffic control activitiesMaintain site vehicle in a clean and tidy manner.What we''re looking forA valid Traffic Controller (TC) certification for NSW.Be willing to work 10 days on and four days off for 6 to 12 monthsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWhite card is mandatory.Driver''s license with a clean driving record.10-hour workdays every day.What we offerAt Smith Plant, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
