Start Date : ASAP Pay Rate: $40/hr Benefits: ON-FARM ACCOMMODATION + ELECTRICITY + MEAT + WORK VEHICLE Position Type: Full Time Job Description: Our client is a family-owned contracting and broadacre farming business operating across 5,500 acres over 2 properties and servicing multiple farms within the region. The contracting business side of the operation is well established with a modern fleet of CASE headers, CASE self-propelled spray rig, Goldacre spray units, spreaders, and other large-scale machinery. Our client is seeking a full-time machinery operator to join their close-knit team and contribute to the success of both their farming and contracting operations. About the role: Operation of broadacre cropping machinery, including planting, spraying, harvesting, and spreaders Working as part of a supportive and skilled team across both the farming and contracting businesses Maintaining machinery to a high standard with a strong focus on attention to detail Representing the business in a professional, neat, and tidy manner Dealing directly with clients, ensuring high levels of service About you: Minimum 3 years experience operating a self-propelled spray rig Proficient in the use of GPS technology Trimble Experience with chemical handling, mixing, and application (Chemical accreditation is highly regarded) Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work Good communication skills and the ability to build positive client relationships Mechanical aptitude and willingness to carry out machinery maintenance Ability to work both independently and as part of a team A neat, tidy, and professional approach An HR or HC licence is an advantage, but not essential This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a fulltime role with long-term prospects in a successful and respected contracting business.
