We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee daily operations at our Wanniassa outlet. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the fast-food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong commitment to operational excellence. Location : Wanniassa, ACT Employment Type : Full-time Salary : $80,000 - $90,000 per annum (depending upon skills and experience) Duties will include but not limited to: Oversee and manage daily operations of the Wannaissa outlet, maximising operational efficiency in service, compliance with franchise policies, and adherence to food safety and quality standards. Analyse and understand local market trends to determine the in-store product mix. Develop and implement strategies to drive store performance, including local promotions and upselling techniques to increase sales. Manage stock levels, stock ordering, and inventory control to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency. Formulate in-house pricing policies for specials in conjunction with Red Rooster guidelines Plan in-store promotional displays based on demand and product trends within the local area and as per Red Rooster guidelines. Prepare and monitor budgets, sales targets, maintain financial records and review them to improve profitability. Lead, recruit, train, and manage a motivated team, ensuring high standards of customer service. Ensure full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, hygiene standards, and operational protocols. Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role within the fast-food or hospitality industry. Minimum Diploma in Business, Hospitality, Management, or a related field is preferred. Proven at least two years of Australian experience in managing fast-food restaurant or caf with high customer footfall Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities High level of flexibility and availability on weekends Financial acumen Great verbal communication skills Natural talent for motivating and developing teams.
