About the Opportunity Gold Coast Private Hospital invites you to join our team as a Theatre Orderly on a permanent parttime basis (64 hours per fortnight) in Southport. We provide a supportive environment where nonclinical patient care and teamwork help achieve the best outcomes. This role focuses on patient assistance, preoperative and postoperative support, and exceptional customer service. Be part of a friendly and supportive team Permanent parttime position 64 hours per fortnight Southport location close to light rail and local amenities Discounted meals and parking for staff Responsibilities Patient assistance and transfers including the use of wheelchairs, lifting machines and bed movers Preoperative preparation of the patient as per surgical VMO requirements General housekeeping duties cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking equipment, and waste management Remove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily available Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients Cultivate a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients Work as an active team member to support all work tasks Qualifications & Requirements Authority to work in Australia CertIV in Assistant in Nursing or patient services, or currently working towards it Experience as an Orderly in a hospital environment preferred Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement Working with Children check Commitment to service excellence Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision Ability to work in a fastpaced environment High level of attention to detail Benefits Flexibility work across one or multiple hospitals in our expansive network Perks discounted health insurance, gym memberships, salary packaging and more!
