Working Together | We will respond to challenges together to create a safe, quality health service The role of the Trade Cook is: Prepare and cook meals, including therapeutic diets, following standard recipes and portion control guidelines.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and LRH''s Food Safety Program.Manage ordering, receipt, and storage of goods, ensuring quality and minimising waste.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of equipment and work areas.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and meet key performance indicators.Collaborate with the Food Services team to deliver efficient and customer focused service. About you Ideal candidates for this role will have: Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent as a trade cook (mandatory)Completion of an accredited food handling course (mandatory)Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of therapeutic diets and kitchen ordering processes (desirable).
