Position: Chef/Cook Requirements for this role: Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Planning the menus. Prepare and cook food according to the menu and customer expectation. Estimating food and labor costs by weekly and monthly. Checking the stock on hand and ordering food supplies. Monitoring and maintaining consistency in the quality of food prepared. Keeping the owner, staff posted for the day-to-day issues regarding food preparation requiring attention. Advising easier and productive food preparation techniques. Check the quality of the meats chicken, beef, Lamb, seafood and other food. Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the work areas. Help in selection and training of staff. Daily temperature checks of fridges, freezers, storage areas, deliveries and recording assessment where necessary. Follow the Health Regulation Guidelines and maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the work area. Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience: Cooking skills and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Relevant qualifications in cookery.
