About the Opportunity Cowra Council is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate for the fulltime permanent position of Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) Attendant within our Waste Operations Section. The MRF Attendants primary responsibility is to contribute to the daily operations of the section with the following objectives: Sort recyclables on the sorting line Container Deposit Scheme and Kerbside Recycling Press sorted materials using mechanical presses Collect litter, sweep the shed and receiving area Provide general customer service to customers attending the MRF Operate the weighbridge Operate machinery (forklift, frontend loader, telehandler) depending on qualifications Requirements A can do work ethic, strong organisational skills, a current Class C drivers licence and the ability to work positively within a team are essential. Overtime work, including weekends, is available to assist in the operations of the facility.
