Zeal Futures, in partnership with our Host Employer, Narellan Pools is offering an exciting opportunity for a handson individual to start their career as an Apprentice Pool Manufacturer. Complete a Certificate III in Engineering Composites over a period of 48 months. Who are Narellan Pools? Narellan Pools specialises in the manufacturing of residential and commercial swimming pools using advanced composite engineering techniques. What Youll Be Doing: As an apprentice, youll gain valuable skills working alongside experienced tradespeople, learning every stage of the pool production process from start to finish, including: Mould Preparation: Sanding, buffing, waxing, and getting moulds ready for spraying. Production: Learning how pools are laminated and built using fibreglass and gel coat spraying techniques. Detailing: Sanding, buffing, and repairing any imperfections before pools are sent out. Mould Maintenance: Refreshing and maintaining moulds for reuse. This is a handson role that will teach you practical skills and techniques in composite engineering and pool manufacturing. About You: Were looking for someone who is willing to learn both on the job and off the job. Comfortable working safely around chemicals used in pool production. Excellent team player who collaborates effectively to achieve team goals. Holds a P1 or higher driver''s licence (or is actively working towards one) desirable but not essential. Ability and willingness to undergo a preemployment medical which will also involve audiometry, functional capacity and drug and alcohol assessment.
