Retort Operator Leeton, NSW (BBBH28637) Leeton, Australia Salary: AUD34.04 - AUD34.04 per hour + penalty rates The Role Join a well-established food processing facility in Leeton, NSW, where youll be part of a high-performing production team ensuring the smooth operation of automated machinery. Working in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment, youll contribute to the end-to-end process from raw ingredients through to packaging and distribution. Key Responsibilities Operating and monitoring automation machinery from pre-production to packaging Managing the retort process and ensuring all stages meet quality and safety standards Assisting with raw ingredients, liquid mixing, nitrogen tank replacement, pouch and robot operations, and unloading as required Performing quality checks and maintaining accurate records Supporting other production areas and shift teams as needed Forklift operation and packing (not essential but desirable) Benefits Pay Rate: $34.04 per hour plus penalty rates Duration: 3 months with potential for extension Schedule: 38 hours per week, with flexibility to work day and night shifts Gain valuable hands-on experience in food manufacturing and automation Work in a collaborative, safety-driven environment with opportunities for growth Your Skills & Experience Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (food industry preferred) Forklift experience and licence desirable Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team Reliability and flexibility to work various shifts (day and night) Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
