Summary Location: All Saints - Boonah Start date: Commencing January, 2026 Work hours: 2 days/week Salary: $103,397 - $144,242 + super Status: Parttime | Permanent Ad close date: 23 November, 2025 Contact: Robert Campbell | [email protected] About The Opportunity You will be responsible for the following: Facilitate proactive and preventative practices and initiatives for the holistic development, mental health and wellbeing of students Manage counselling and consulting services for students Provide psychoeducational and other assessments Ensure BCE protocols and quality processes are implemented Maintain standards of practice Apply guidance counselling skills through direct and indirect processes and through systemic, wholeschool and individual interventions Participate in regular individual and group supervision and mentoring activities for clinical and technical supervision About You Successful experience as a Guidance Counsellor in an educational setting with a focus on prevention, intervention and student learning Experience in identifying and developing activities to address academic and lifecareer development of students Experience in administration, interpretation and report writing for psychoeducational assessments Experience in providing support and leadership in response to student protection issues, critical incidents and risk management Collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment Not required to be Catholic Eligibility and Safeguarding Requirements Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment Full registration as a Teacher with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) plus completed Masters in school guidance and counselling, and/or Full registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Benefits Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Competitive remuneration and flexible work arrangements (position dependent) Access to targeted AI tools and training with a focus on innovation and strong ethical standards Salary packaging and salarysacrificing options Active staff social club and wellness programmes Personal support through the Employee Assistance Programme Everyone at BCE models and fosters a commitment to the safeguarding of children and promotes a culture where student protection is everyones responsibility.
