Youll report to the Shift Supervisor and work closely with the rest of the crew to keep operations on track using advanced equipment in a safety-first environment.What Youll DoOperating MPU trucks safely to manufacture and deliver bulk explosives to blast holesTrack and maintain accurate records and proactively report any issues to the Shift SupervisorCarry out pre-start checks and support preventative maintenance on equipmentFollowing all safety, environmental, and compliance requirementsSupport the wider team to achieve daily targetsWhat Youll NeedMust-haves:Right to work in AustraliaPrevious experience operating MPUs or similar equipment in an open cut mining environmentStatement of Attainment for MPU Operating e.g. RIIBLA203E Conduct Mobile Mixing of ExplosivesStandard 11 (or willingness to obtain)QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card (or ability to obtain)Able to pass pre-employment checks including medical, drug and alcohol and background checksNice to Have:Relevant RII to operate a Heavy Rigid Vehicle RIIVEH307FAbout UsWere a bespoke blasting provider in the Australian mining industry with the goal of making mining easier for our clients.Were not aiming to be the largest, were focused and pride ourselves on being the most recommended provider.
